Enjoy the luxury and relaxation of a summer cruise on the mighty St. Lawrence River, taking in the beauty and grandeur of nature as well as visiting villages and cities, including:

  • Montreal

  • Québec

  • Tadoussac

  • Gaspésie

  • Les Iles de la Madeleine

Day 1 - Fly to or rendezvous in Montreal
 
Spend the night in Montreal at the Omni Mont Royal, a five- star, four-diamond luxury hotel, located on Sherbrook in the heart of downtown’s Golden Square Mile across from the beautiful McGill University. All of the rooms offer stunning views of the downtown skyline or breathtaking Mont-Royal Park. 

Day 2 - Board the CTMA Ship in Montreal. Sail Down the St-Lawrence River
  • The skyline of Old Montreal
  • Ste-Helene Islands
  • Bertier-Sorel  Archipelago
  • Lake St-Pierre
  • Laviolette Bridge
  • Shrine of Notre-Dame-du-Cap
  • Pierre-Laporte Bridge
  • Old Québec Bridge
  • Around 11:00 PM: Québec City comes into view, with the magnificent Chateau Frontenac dominating the skyline. At the foot of the cliffs lies Old Québec.

 

Day 3- Discover the Gaspe peninsula
  • Sail near Tadoussac at the mouth of the Saguenay River
  • Past the towns of Rimouski and Matanes
  • See the impressive windmill park as it stretches on hill tops all the way to Cap-Chat
  • Past the rugged shores of Ste-Anne-des-Monts, the Chics-Chocs Mountains and the town of La Martre
  • Watch the hang-gliders at Mont-St-Pierre
  • The lighthouse at Pointe-à-la-Renommée
  • The fishing port of Rivière-au-Renard
  • Around Forillon Park and the Bay of Gaspé
  • After navigating between Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island, the ship gets into Chandler at around 11:00 PM.
Days 4 , 5 & 6 - Les Îles de la Madeleine
  • Around 10AM, the ship docks at Cap-aux-Meules
  • Breakfast served on board
  • Explore the archipelago
  • Visit the fishing ports
  • Explore the many villages on the island
  • Canoes are available all along the coast
  • Stop and eat fresh lobsters or ride with the fishermen and fish on your own
  • Stay on the ship or spend the nights at the Havre sur Mer, a lovely auberge by the beach with offers all the amenities, including massotherapy and a multi-course breakfast.
Day 7 - The Gaspésie Region
  • The ship docks at Chandler around 6AM
  • Check out the immediate area, or  board a minibus to the famed town of Percé and it's Rock
  • Visit the Rock
  • Go to Bonaventure Island and watch the numerous seals and the hundred of thousand of birds that live on the preserve
  • Leave Chandler around noon
  • Keep an eye out for whales
 
Day 8 - Observe the whales, then discover Québec City.
  • At daybreak, board pilots near Les Escoumins and sail on past Tadoussac, where whales gather
  • Pass by the Saguenay Fjord, Baie-Ste-Catherine and La Malbaie
  • St-Joseph-de-la-Rive, l'Île aux Coudre and Baie-St-Paul
  • Le Massif, the Cap-Tourmente Preserve, l'Île aux Grues and Grosse Île
  • La Côte-de-Beaupré, Ile d'Orleans and the Montmorency Falls
  • Around noon, dock at the only walled city in North America, Québec City
  • Discover the cobblestone streets, shops and attractions until the ship sails at 8PM
 
Day 9 - Back to Montreal
  • Early in the morning, the ship docks at Montreal
  • Enjoy breakfast
  • Discover Montreal
 
Day 10- Return to your final destination.
