Enjoy the entertainment in the Grand Square and a wide range of daily activities and shows created especially for the 400th anniversary of the founding of Québec City. See Québec 2008 to get an idea of the scope of the festivities.

Besides all the festivities in Québec City itself, you will take a jaunt to Ile d’Orléans where you will enjoy a suburb wine-tasting experience and have an extraordinary view of the closing ceremonies of the Loto-Québec International Fireworks competition by the Falls of Montmorency.

	International Fireworks Competition: July 19 - August 6   Montmorency Falls Park   Fireworks based on the musical theme of Québec City's 400th anniversary.
	400th Magic Nights: July 30 - August 3 Plains of Abraham (Québec) and Parc Champigny (Lévis)   Over 80 hot air balloons on both shores of the St. Lawrence, taking off  simultaneously.
	Meeting of the Giants: August 5 - August 10 Old Québec   More than 50 giants from all over the world and their court (close to 750 people).
